Good morning all!!! We were so excited to receive our eggs from Bargain back in early November! We were even more excited on hatch day when 9 of our eggs actually hatched! We had a scary moment when one of the chicks got seriously stuck in her shell and I made the tough choice to go in a rescue her. She's a tiny little girl we names Sloane (Irish for warrior). A couple days after hatching, we weighed her and she was just 3/4oz compared to her big sisters who averaged 2oz. She is now 1.75oz at almost 2 weeks old and doing well. We are so excited to hatch out more in the future! This was definitely a TON of fun! I just wanted to share some holiday pictures I took of the new fuzzy butts last week. They are now almost 2 weeks old and entering their awkward phase.... oh, and DH thinks I'm officially crazy for taking these pictures.

They were pretty well behaved. At this age, they really don't jump or try to escape. They kinda just look around and sit still. I make little kissy sounds at them to get their attention but I did have my husband there to kinda turn some around so I got some shots of their faces and not just fluffy butts lol

What breed?

They are so cute. Of course!
There are 3 each of Lavendar Orpingtons, Lavendar Ameracaunas, and BBSMs

Thanks for all the compliments. I can't believe how fast they grow. Just this morning, they found the roosting pole in their brooder!!! It was so funny to see some of them try to jump and not make it while others sat there like, "well, come on up"
