Students named him Lucky because I started a bunch of duck eggs in an incubator and I had an extra one, so I put it in the other incubator, knowing there would be more space when I candled the eggs in a week and took out the eggs that weren't fertile. In a week I found out the incubator was broken and had only been at 90 degrees, so I lost all of those eggs. But "Lucky" duck had been in the other incubator and had started developing. He is a few weeks older.
