I have to do this today, build a makeshift brood pen for my broody hen any pictures or ideas I feel sad for her.

Is the purpose of this pen to break her of broodiness or to allow her to hatch some eggs? If hatching-

Can you make it so she can communicate with the others? This would help to maintain her position in the flock. Try to give her a roost the same dimensions as the ones she's used, and to make food/water available very close to her nesting position.

This is a chance to baby her and make sure she is kept at good weight- she will probably become very pleased to have you visit!
