Haha! Lovely pics! Sheesh, that is a scary broody.
Anyways, I currently don't have any pictures but, our Polish surely love watermelon. The only bad thing is with their crests it's really hard to avoid them getting it everywhere. Usually I cut it into small pieces to avoid them getting it in their "fro"

have chicks, we'll put a half of a watermelon out there, and they'll stand

on the rims and drink the watermelon juice. It's so cute!

Anyone have a link to a list of Do an Don't for what foods to give chickens? Besides the one on BYC? It's on ongoing wonder in my house and I'd like to post it on the fridge and that's that! I throw our citrus peels out (and tomatoes) but they never actually get citrus because we eat it all. They aren't interested in the peels at all. We currently don't give them: raw potatoes, onion, avocado or things with sugar/salt like cookies/ chips... but I know there is a debate on each of those.. aye

Our chickens free range and I toss apples to them they chase down the driveway. XD Don't mess with that brooder. she looks fierce.

Today I attempted giving Katie, my broody, some food in her nest and I thought I was gonna loose

a hand .. Shes serious. Shes got 6 or 7 eggs, but she WILL NOT get off the nest. And when she

does finally take a break, get down and eat, drink, etc, EVERYONE in the pen is in a bad mood,

cause she goes around pecking and flogging anyone that looks at her...meh. HELP MEE!
