What is wrong with my Button Quail? PLEASE HELP!!

Are there any environmental changes that he could be allergic to? Or an allergy hes developed?

Everything in his environment has been the same for 9 years (same food, same bedding, same room temperature, same bathing sand) So if he has developed an allergy, I am not sure what would be causing it D:

Update!

He's doing good! His preen gland keeps blocking up, so I keep having to push the oils out, since he is too small and too old to have it removed. Another issue is that his nose keeps plugging up with mucus, so he still has some breathing issues. We never figured out what was causing that, so now he just has these sinus problems non stop. Is there a way that I can flush his nose or give him a drop or something to help keep it clear??

I'm glad he's doing better, but to be honest, he's very, very old, and is probably reaching the end of his lifespan. Considering that most buttons only live a couple years, you've taken great care of him, and he's had a great life.

Keep him as comfortable as you can, keep up the good work.
