It's just a small creek they have access to. I believe it was an owl(s) that got them, It happened at night and there really were no feathers anywhere. We have also had eagles try to get some of the birds before, in the middle of the day with everyone out in the yard! luckily we scared her off and the bird was fine.
The predator birds are worse than the coyotes the last few years. I've only had 1 coyote incident since i lost these guys, he got 2 Pekin-X ducks, feathers EVERYWHERE..all the way back to the hill.
