You are going to LOVE this thing. I have a 16x10 portable that I converted into a shop, a storage shed and a chicken coop.

It is GREAT for baby chicks and if you block off about a half of it and put boards on the holes to the upper part,, you have an excellent way to keep your babies warm, dry and predator proof.

I just used heavy moving pads hanging to seprate the coops from the rest. They work great.
I have known others that have built a wall with a door, I think this is going too far.

I made a few "areas" for the chicks. a small one for my exoctics and a larger one for the hatches from the barn.

I have electricity to mine and this makes all the difference in the world.

I have a pop hole in the back for one of the chicken areas. Presently it is covered with wire mesh. I open this and the door for ventilation. In the summer I run the fans in the windows.

I use a single quartz heater (this seems to work the best) and the temperature stays above 50 degrees easily.
