I had originally went out this morning to get a picture of Phillip, my Brown Swiss bull 'calf' that I am going to put online for sale, but of course, I couldn't find the little turd so I ended up taking pictures of everyone else that I could find (Dad's Cows) Plus the Neighbors Big red bull that's been breeding our girls and the ugly wandering bull that is a baby from last year (from our old bull)... He just kind of followed the neighbors bull over but really came from a different neighbors heifer but no one really claims his midget, ugly butt!!

He will probably be sold this year if we can find a buyer.

This years babies:

The Breeding Bull: I think he's actually the neighbors pet, he lets me get right up to him and touch him.

Those pictures show why we don't raise our own beef. We would end up with another giant pet! It's better for us if we aren't on a first name basis with our steak.

That black bull calf out of the Red Brindle cow would be the one you want to have in your breeding program. He got SIZE and he will be BIG!

That neighbor's bull looks OLD and only good for hamburgers LOL!

That midget, yes, you are right, he is UGLY!
lol.png
However he would be good for meat.

The Black bull calf & the red brindle are actually "siblings", they have the same mother. their momma is a big, tall, jet black girl with the tall, thinner Brahma build.

I would LOVE to keep that beautiful black bull calf but my father has had the same cows for a Long time and we just finally got him to sell our bull last year(who we affectionatly called "Pissy face".. he was so gross all the time from the girls

). I don't know if it would be good to keep this little one for breeding or not because he is Pissy's baby, but he is one that's more unrelated(has the Brahma in him). The red bull is only 14 months old but he does look old doesnt he?!!

That ugly one is always called "her ugly" or hamburger"

he really is just not good looking at all, lol.

Lol, the grandmother of these ones was an Auction House "Rescue", nobody wanted her because she had "thoroughbred legs" (Brahma/Angus mix) so we bought her for $15 and she was one of our best, friendliest girls. She could stand flat footed and clear just about any fence in her way though, I still remember the neighbor hurring down to our place to tell us she had gotten out of his field (we share pasture sometimes) by jumping the fence.. the look on his face was priceless!

Thankfully we haven't had an onery one yet!
