My chicks are now about 7 and 8 weeks old so i thought i would show you some new pictures....
This is my favorite girl...Rose....she is my baby...she's the barred rock..

very nice I like the roosts i just had my coop built can't wait to move everybody out.But my roosts the angle of wood is wrong .. yours is how I had wanted it built.And you little skin babies are too cute.

That works.

In the future, try hangin feeders and waterers. I hang mine by an adjustable tent cleat and just move it up or own as needed. Keeps the feed and water clean and the birds out of it.

You've given me some good ideas when I remodel. I had a roost that was not what I liked. I found that the best thing for their feet was 2x4's with the wide flat side to stand on, so it's kind to their feet. I connected them to the rails with one screw on each side, when I had it positioned, I could turn the 2x4's till they were level, then add another screw. Worked out well.
