Speckledhen- Your eggs look great! How do you like your Welsummers? Mine really vary in personality. I ended up with 5 hens. Four of them layed their first egg on the same day.

Those eggs are such a beautiful rich color.

My Welsummer girl is 18 weeks old and I'm chomping at the bit waiting for that first egg in another month or so.

Mine are sweet and not flighty. They love treats and they are the first ones to come for a heel of bread! The roosters are sweet too!
