actually, our setup is pretty simple - the birds are in a large dog run that has been "re-purposed". It is made of Priefert Steel panels and we have common chicken wire across the top to keep them safe. The ground is bare dirt, but there are pavers all around under neath each panel to prevent digging. All of this is inside a 6' privacy fence (we have lots of cayotes and big raptors) This whole thing is attached to a 12x12 Stuff Shed that is fully insulated and has roosting perches, windows and even a sky light. Will try and get out there and take some pictures for you. Right now I am busy moving all of the juvenile birds back in the house - we are under a blizzard warning starting this evening and lasting well into tomorrow. SOOOOO - all of the babies are coming back in. The Peafowl will have a heat lamp in their shed and that will keep them safe. Colorado in the spring is not for whimps, I tell you.

our feather breeds are, at the moment, Cinnamon Star pullets, Rouen ducklings, Ancona ducklings, and 1 1/2 year old peahen and peacock. At the end of this week I am getting Toulouse goslings and next week I am getting some Swedish Blue ducklings. In the house I have one African Grey Parrot and two Parakeets

Our horse breeds are Clydesdale, Norwegian Fjord and miniature horses.

hahaha - that is funny. But it shouldn't be a surprise, they are really classy names with a lot of "royal air" to them. And it was that feeling that I got when I looked at my birds, they are so beautiful and regal. No other choice in names even came up. Good choice in names, BTW LOL
