This is my soon to be coop. Its the end of my rabbitry. Hopefully we will get it done soon since my chicks are fast outgrowing the cages I have them in right now

Thanks! Yes, it's that plastic shower panel stuff. It's glued down, but the Hubs is going to cut the other half of the 4'x8' and make a backsplash and then caulk it up so if it's ever super nasty and pooey in there we can just hose the whole thing out. I need to take another round of photos of the coop too as we put sand in the run and a gate and such.

Here is my coop right after I finished it. Its all 2x4 and 1x4, stained with decking stain and attached with decking screws. I thought it would be cheaper than buying one. Man was I wrong.


Here it is done with the run around it. Nice winter photo. The girls were quite surprised by their first snow that morning.

Nikon, really nice looking coop.

Quite like ours - spent hours researching this site then hubby and I built in in the corner ofn our suburban back yard. It's been so easier to clean, collect eggs. And the run is river sand, held in by old railway sleepers. Mostly recylced - just had to buy clear PVC roofing (goes over the roof wire to keep the rain out of 1/2 the run - lateches etc and the paint was left over from the fence. Really helps in blend in too. The whole front of the coop opens for cleaning. The nesting boxes are off the back, and opened from the exterior.
