I have been wondering about the color. But it's an Indian Runner duck. Here is the same duckling when wet. The brownish marking on the body is not symmetrical.

They lay 200+ eggs a year and stand very upright. The come in many colours, and usually don't go broody. They weigh 4.5-5 pounds at maturity and are very active foragers. Also, they run rather than waddle.
