Hi all i raised pigeons that stay at home and do not fly and they were a delight for me the pair were so tame that they would not sleep except under my bed or on the edge of my bed but now i would like to try my hand at raising pigeon that fly around my building i want to buy 3 pairs and i need ideas for their coop i think of raising rollers

Welcome aboard Backyard buddy.
My grand daughter and I raise homers. I converted a baby barn into a loft.

We had a terrible time with predators and a weasel wiped me completely out of homing pigeons this winter. We are rebuilding our flock and now have 19 birds.

U tube has many easy cheap scrap and great ideas. i raise rollers most colorful of, flights, most close flocking n evasive next to flying oriental rollers (bred competitively beat trained hawks etc in airial manuvers etc in sand storms), and homers most tough n strong of three. i have Portuguese tumblers that are smallest of pigeons as well as others.
just depends on what your looking for, but these three extremely tame and my homers n rollers follow me around and perch on me n play with my fingers in their mouths etc n play tag.. they fly up lightly barely wing slap, peck or claw grasp, and fly away, repeatedly getting me to chase after in circles n back and fourth around. hahaha
