I turn my pigeons loose every day except for when the hawks are bad. Once they figure out how to leave and get back then they will do so. I have rollers that will fly in tight groups and do backward flips downward like a yo yo. (although mine are bred for colors so they dont roll as extreme as most). PIgeons raised at your house will do fine, new pigeons have to be given time to adjust to their new home. Sometimes the new ones do try to fly back to their old home.

Well Fr. Chuck, I have several breeder pairs but since I am in the final processes of adopting our daughter I have stopped breeding. If you ever want any just say so and I will let the eggs hatch.

Matt, thanks for the offer, I can wait for the birds until later, not a problem on that. Congrats on the new addition to your family. I can remeber when one of my brothers brought his adopted son home, just in time for the Christmas Holidays.

Just think you get another tax deduction for 2008, that's why they call them Papa's little dividend.

Thanks for the compliments! This pair is my first purebreds . I haven't had any pigeons for many years but I have always wanted some of these, and now here they are!
