We have a rescue pigeon with an eye infection, but our local vets are closed. We have baytril tablets which we think we can safely use but don’t know how the dose works or if it would work for this injury. Any advice or dosage directions would be greatly appreciated!

I would probably just use some saline or an eye wash to soften the gunk, clean it twice a day and follow with some plain Neosporin or Terramycin ointment. Tylosin powder in the water 1 tsp per gallon of water for 5 days may help treat mycoplasma (MG.)
