I am currently building my breeding flock of Pilgrims and will breed them to breed standards once established. I am seeking eggs or day olds in the spring;even adult females. I appreciate breeder addresses/info; any tips! I rarely see these mentioned on BYC except for a few posts. They are very quiet in regards to other geese I have raised and very very gentle but hard to find. I appreciate any information on these gentle giants. Thank you !!!

Giants? Not Pilgrims they are medium geese. As for BYC posts about half (it seems) are questions about the gender of the geese, a question that never should be needed to ask about Pilgrims. (for those who don't know, Ganders are White, Geese are gray)
One reason they are hard to find is that cross breeding to other breeds tends to upset the sex-link so the off spring aren't Pilgrims anymore. If you haven't guessed by now they are my favorite domestic goose. As you stated, quiet and gentle by goose standards, excent parents and have tons of personality. Alas I have none now.

You mentioned in your post that cross breeding will upset the sexlink coloring of offspring.... Will these goslings mature to be all white? I bought two this weekend, sold to me as a male and female, from a white father and a gray mother. However, these five month olds are both white. One has gray tips to its wings. Honestly, if they are both ganders, I'll just order two females in the spring. Just curious. Thanks!!!

Can't say for sure, in my case it was a gray china that "jumped the fence" I thought I had me a nice bunch of gray females until the knob started to grow. There were two white birds in the clutch that looked like Pilgrim ganders but I sold the whole clutch 'as is' without claiming they were pilgrims.
