<<<<<< is a very willing customer if you are willing to ship to Georgia.

I wish i could but they are getting too big to ship and it is too darn hot now. I have never shipped live critters lol except dogs.

It's all good. I have only found people willing to ship CPG, but not Pilgrims. I found two people earlier this spring that were willing to ship Pilgrim eggs. One shipped eggs but we had an incubator issue and lost all of them. The other stopped communicating for a long time, then showed up and apologized and said she had been ill but she her girls had started laying. Then after that there was never any more communication. I hope everything is ok with her. It sucked that I never got that batch of eggs but her health is more important than me getting eggs and I wish her well.

OMG! I think my goose Beatrice is eating her goslings as they hatch! One is in the process of hatching and she keeps biting at the shell. There were seven eggs and now there's only five (unless the other two are under the shavings and I can't see them!). Im afraid to leave her now in case she kills the gosling! Is that behavior normal? PLEASE HELP!!

Yes, it can happen. It´s her instinct to nibble at the shell, geese do this. But sometimes they get carried away. Take them out to hatch, then once they´re all fluffed up, give them back to her and she should be fine. Just keep an eye on her. It happened with one of mine, too.

Guess who just got 8 Pilgrim goslings! Go ahead. Guess. You took too long..... Me. 2 about a week and a half old and 6 about 3 or 4 weeks old. I could have gotten more but 8 is enough from one place. And besides that, the other 3 goslings had a mother who had angel wing. And not knowing if it was genetics that caused it, I didn't want to take the chance. Now my only question is this.... These seem to be more pink than orange like a CPG. Should they have been orange from the get go or do they change colors as they get older?

Meaning their bill? Oh, and congrats on your new little ones, looking forward to seeing pics of them.

Yes. Their bills and legs. Very pink looking like cpg.
Little Pils don´t have pink bills.
Maybe the person you got them from only knew about Pilgrims and thought she had those, but actually had cpg? Pink bills in Pilgrims would be a fault, and I don´t think it´s very common.
Well, at great risk of offending purists, they do seem to be much the same thing, having the same ancestry, and both breeds being, from all I´ve read, very easy-going. I love mine, and they seem to be somewhere in between the two breeds...just common auto-sexing geese.

Still looking forward to pics when you can.
