Hey Y'all,

I'm looking for some pilgrim goose hatching eggs. I was going to order goslings, but I am unable to get one of each gender. I just hatched chicks in my classroom and was wanting to do something different with my students. Pilgrims were nice because we could easily tell the genders.

Anyone know where I could purchase hatching eggs or goslings?

I have some! I have a lovely pair of Pilgrim geese, and it is their first year mating, but I'm not ready to hatch any out this year, so I've been collecting them, how many do you need? AT first I was refrigerating them and we actually ate a few but lately I've been just putting them in a bowl on the table so they are at room temp, which is I guess what you're supposed to do if they are going to be incubated. I have 4 at room temp now, and my goose is laying one every other day. I don't know how much they are worth maybe you do? But I am good at packing and shipping because I used to sell hundreds of items on ebay and many were fragile.
Also I should let you know right now I am trying to figure out why my ganders poop is watery and if I have to give him something more than applecider vinegar and garlic water and if that will have any effect on the quality of his sperm or not.? But he has been very actively mating with my goose and acts healthy otherwise, just trying to solve the poop problem. My lady goose has normal poop :)

Do you have any eggs this year?

well my goose just started laying again, but I am concerned that my geese might be brother and sister, and I just read some articles about that,, being not a good idea to hatch out any goslings from a pair of siblings :(
I am not 100% certain if they are siblings, and the breeder I bought them from has closed his farm business and is gone who knows where, so I can't even ask him.
I don't trust him anyway, because originally I bought 3 pilgrims from him, one white (male) and 2 gray (supposed to be female, but one of them was a male. which I found out 8 months later and had to rehome him) Yeah so a gray pilgrim gander!!... is meaning that this breeder guy messed up the auto sexing feature. So I don't trust him anyway.
