pin feathers on ducks and geese

I know you can wax ducks and geese to remove pin feathers..

where is a good place to get this type of wax?

Looks like we are going to be butchering at least 20 geese this fall, if we don't sell them.. they are all males, so they don't sell so good..

Don't forget to pick up some cheesecloth. You can recover a lot of wax by straining out the feathers.

my wife priced them out at the supermarket recently.. are you ready for this??? $44.oo for a medium sized one !!

there is no way we are going to eat 20 geese next winter..

imagine running into you,, I am getting rid of all my geese and turkeys and going heavier into muscovys too..

In fact, last week I went and bought 25 young ones from 2 different people.. I already had 14 that we hatched and raised.. so we now have 39 to feed through the winter.. they are all chocolates..

we had some black ones last year but the wildlife killed all but 2 of the 8 .. we butchered 2 drakes.

talk about a strong bird. took 2 of us to hold them to kill...
