Pin feathers?

Do chickens like having you help with their pin feathers? My cockatiel loves it, but I’m not sure if I should help my silkies since they clearly don’t help each other.

Do chickens like having you help with their pin feathers? My cockatiel loves it, but I’m not sure if I should help my silkies since they clearly don’t help each other.

Have had some birds that don't mind me helping remove the sheathing of pin feathers on their heads.....others won't tolerate it.
Note: I do not have silkies.
