I am on day 11 of incubation of chicken eggs. I think the eggs must knocked together cause I found a pin head size hole in one of their shells. we figured at that stage it was a goner. after canding it and not seeing a air sac any more we opened it up.
the chick in it was alive and was well developed for it's stage of incubation.
Next time is there any way to save one like this?
I figured it would be dead. And now I almost think there is no way the air sac was gone, or it would have died before I opened it. First time incubator so I have no idea, but now I am thinking I wasted a chick.
Good news is last time I candled they all looked alike, except 1 infertile 1, so the set is doing well. Just hated to see one go this way.
Could have the hole in the shell deflated the air sac?
