Pineapple?

Is pineapple ok to feed to my chickens? I would think its ok but looked on the treats list and did not see it listed.

I have fed my flock small amounts of fresh pineapple a few times and have had no problems!

Yup. I give them the ones that are already cut and ready for humans to consume

Since I get it free!

Birds LOVE 'em.

No oranges though... Ladybird is allergic to those and puffs up like a balloon, so no one gets citrus LOL

But they love pineapple

And the cow eats it too

I gave mine pineapple and they were fine. It wasn't their favorite treat, but they ate it.

I know this is an old thread but I was wondering about pineapple too since it was not on the treat chart. Found this thread very helpful now going to see if my girls like pineapple.
