I am new to raising chickens. I have four Black Sex Linked hens that are a year old. Recently three of them have lost their feathers exposing a pink butt the size of a tennis ball. When I first saw this I was taken back. They seem to be the picture of health but when they bend over to eat, the bare, red skin is exposed. Anyone have any idea what this could be?
