Where are you located? Is it hot there?

The reason I ask is that sometimes their combs will redden temporarily when hot or excited.

A full side view picture of the chicken in question will help us identify the sex. Also, we'll need to know age.

This one is tricky. The first pictures you took at 8 weeks, the comb looked very red. You're right, now it looks pale at 15 weeks. The legs are pretty thin too.

Could be a slow developing cockerel but if I pretend I didn't see the first pictures and just focus on these new ones, I would have said pullet.

Hi there can someone please help me I'm baffled by this everyone told me the first two are cockerels and I agreed because of the red comb but about a week ago the first one's comb started turning back to orange is this normal?View attachment 4059512

Hi there this is an update on this chick he is 7 months old now and looks like a rooster but he still has not crowed or started mating. Also his saddle feathers are minimal and most of his other feathers are round. WHY?

He's just a slow maturing boy. Do you have another rooster? Sometimes if there's another dominant rooster around, a cockerel won't crow and crow less often.

I do have some other roosters but i can uderstand the crowing but why does he barely have any saddle feathers
I have another rooster that is the same he is 6 and a half months old and his saddle feathers are almost nonexistent. Is something wrong with them?

He looks healthy to me. Let me tag someone I know has experience with cockerels and roosters.

This is my other rooster he is 6 and a half months old and has the bare minimal (almost none) male saddle feathers
