I want to breed some pink egg layers.
Wouldn't it be cool to have pink-pink eggs? And maybe pink with brown speckles? I'm toying with a crossing recipe to see what happens but all my chickens I want to use are too young so I'm at least 2 years away I'm thinking...lol
If only we could sprinkle some grow magic on our fuzzy butt flicks and "Voila! Instant chickens!!!"

There are Production Type Pink Eggers, they are the product of crossing White Leghorn rooster to a Brown Egg type hens(RIR)

Wouldn't that mix create a Red Sexlink?
No, White Leghorns are Extended Black or Birchen at the e locus and dominant white. When crossing this type of phenotype(Solid White dominant) to any other color type All of the chicks will hatch yellow in color. No sexing(at least by down color)

Oh, okay. Thanks for the clarification!
