Is there really a pink egg layer? I was sold a chicken that was to lay pink eggs. The guy was really nice and I fell for it. They look cream to me. If anyone out there has a chicken laying pink eggs please post a picture or email me a picture. Does anyone know where I could get some eggs even a couple to incubate.

Some americaunas and EE lay a pinkish egg. I've heard most are more of a warm tan than super pink. There is someone on here that has a pink layer. I'm sure they could tell you more

I am interested in getting one I never knew that was possible. Well I guess they layer a whole rainbow of colors dont they.

I have one hen that lays me cream or light brown eggs but they tend to have a pinkish hue at times. Unfortunately I can't tell you who lays those. I have Deleware, SLW, BR, and Austrolorps.

Note the words like "pinkish" and "pink hued" and so on. You wont get eggs as pink as peppermint ice cream. But sometimes they appear "pinkish."

Now if you like blue and green, that can be arranged...

Several of my Delawares lay a pinkish egg. But yeah, not really pink, and they change color and look more brownish after being refrigerated too. Still, compared with RIR eggs, they definitely look more pink than brown.
