We don't have any real pink egg layers. Our Partridge Plymouth Rock (brown egg layer), Rachel, lays a mauve tint egg and our Lakenvelder (white egg layer), Martha, lays a white egg with pink tint.

OMG-Rachel and Martha's eggs look really pink to me. How do you like your Lakenvelder? I tried to get a golden one this year but they kept pushing the date out because they were back ordered and I finally gave up and am getting some Marans chicks (which I am very excited about) but I think the Lakenvelders are very pretty birds. I didn't realize they laid tinted eggs.
Salmon Faverolles do not lay pink eggs....they are more tint of very light tan. If you get anything darker than tint or brown eggs, they are either a throw back or crossed with some other breed.
Hi All,
I actually have one Ameracauna that lays "pink-tan" eggs, the other lays a solid green color. My RIR & BR lay definite brown, funny they look much more pink when they sit beside the others.
