Pink fuzzy mold in new coop

The last picture was not from a piece of the coop, but was outside of the run. The coop isn't that wet, but I was showing this to show what it starts out as (I think).
This has to have something to do with chickens, because only the areas where they have been is this an issue. We have other structures where this is not happening. While we built the coop we used our old trampoline wrapped in chicken wire and a tarp on top. Chickens were under there for about week. When we moved it, we noticed the pink fuzz on the ground. The shed is less than a month old, so this is just killing me! I cant be the only person to have a coop in the shade. Right?

...You'd think the chemicals would deter any organism growth....

I wonder if the microbes, whatever they are, might be feasting on stuff that somehow got on the surface of the wood, rather than the wood itself. e.g., dirt, dust, etc..... @skbomar, since it only happens where the chickens have been, what are the possibilities? (A) poop (B) humidity from poop and chicken breath. Even if it doesn't look "wet" when you look, after the birds were in there overnight you could have condensation if it isn't well vented.

How interesting...and odd.

You certainly are not, and I've seen reports of other 'growth' in dark damp settings, but not this pink stuff.
