Pink poo

Hello, I noticed last week that my duck had pink poo. I inspected the poo and couldn’t see any worms but am getting her a worm dose just in case. She is in with a goose who doesn’t seem to have any pink poo and they free range most days. Since last week I hadn’t seen any more pink poo until today. She is not acting strange or anything. What would you guys recommend I do?

What are you feeding? Poop color can change based on diet. Color alone isn't enough to get worried about. I go more by behaviors.

I am not feeding any treats right now, just her normal feed but she is free ranging so could be eating anything really. I wormed her tonight just in case.

Check where they are free ranging she might be eating on something that is making her poo pink. Mine have pink poo when they eat watermelon!

I had a look around and the only thing pink/red would be a rose bush. Perhaps she was eating the petals??

She may have been. I think they are edible. Yep looked it up Rose petals are edible.

Did you figure out what was causing the pink poo was it the roses? @goose321

Yep I think so. I have kept her away from the roses for the past couple days and so far no pink poo. Fingers crossed that’s what it is.

But mom they taste so good like strawberry. lol. I am glad poo is back to normal. Now let her eat some so you know for sure.
