I hatched some silkie eggs I bought from someone on BYC and 3 of them have part of some of their toes that is pink. Is this something that will be passed onto all of their offspring??

I have seen it in some of our lavenders, I haven't bred them yet, so i can't tell you if it is passed down or not, I would guess it is recessive.

It can be passed down, but it's not a major fault; it's not something worth culling over.

Wow Lilpeeps!! What gorgeous pics of foliage on your photobucket. I just have mesquite around here.

Thanks! It was beautiful around here...up until today when we got wind and rain that knocked the leaves off...
