Pinkeye

Can chickens get pink eye?
I have pinkeye and I know it’s very contagious to animals. Shoii I’llld I be worried? Thanks

Pinkeye is also called conjunctivitis. Chickens do get conjunctivitis, usually associated with mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG,) a respiratory disease or other bacteria or viruses. So it could be possible for you to spread it to your chicken if you don’t wash your hands well before handling. Of course you should wash after you handle them as well.
