Pinless Peeper Disaster

Well, it didn't go so well. The hens are pecking the heck out of the roosters bottom. My daughter and I tried to put the pinless peepers on and NO LUCK. I soaked them in hot water and could NOT get them on her nose. Scraped her comb and it started to bleed a little. Served her right as she is the worst aggressor but I wanted to get them ON her. Also they look a little large to fit in her nostrils. Will she be able to breathe ok?

Does anyone have instructions for this? Or a picture of the final product? Or better yet an instructional video?? !!
