I have 2 bully hens. 1 who is just trying to exert dominance, the other, we believe she thinks she is a rooster (she's mounting some of our other hens and is definitely top of the pecking order).

If I catch chicken 1, I'll put her in timeout.

We wanted to use pinless peepers but were curious if they hurt the chicken. Does anyone have an opinion?

They work with stopping bullying. I use them.

I have two bully chickens too. They were attacking and pulling alot of feathers out of my other hens. I am trying the pinless peepers now for about two months and it seems to be working well. The bullies will still chase the other hens around but they're not able to attack them like before.

We ended up separating the bullies in their own area. Rocked with the pecking order! Now the faverolle is growing her feathers back!
