This one egg is worrying me. I can see the blood vessels around the pip and I'm concerned that it will hit a vain.

I don't want to do anything premature, but I also don't want this little one to die because I didn't do anything. what are your suggestions on what to do?

What type of egg is it, what day is it on and how long ago did it make this hole?
It's day 22 at this point. I'm not 100% sure what breed it is. The lady I got them from has mostly Olive Eggers, EEs, Marans and Ameraucanas. A couple Leghorns, Sussex and a Red Sexlink. 2 Salmon Faverolles too and I think some naked necks. I believe she piped maybe 3 or 4 hours ago.

Thanks....I was wondering if it was a chicken or duck egg.

Is the chick making any progress?

Is that a 'side pip'? (a pip not into the air cell).
They take up to 24-48 hours as it's like an internal pip.
Any progress?
