pip in the turkey egg!

Ok first time hatching turkeys and I have a PIP!

So when they hatch and I am also hatching chickens, can they be put together?
I do have 2 brooders if need be.

Yea so excited!

Anything else I need to know about turkeys?

I just had 6 blue slate turkey's hatch and I have mine in with 2 ducks that hatched at the same time and a blue back pheasant chick. They all snuggle up together it's so cute.

Congrats on the pip. Keep us posted on how things progress. I have 18 in the bator and 5 under a hen. I hope all goes well with yours. Please give us pics. Can't wait.

Ok sounds good!

I am excited, yet the turkey chick has done nothing else. I have had the pip since last night. I hope the baby is ok.

Thank goodness I have two brooders cause in the other incubator I have silkes and frizzles and EE eggs and there are way to many to cound and all hatching at once! akkkkkkkkkk!!

Ok now have 2 pips!

still no hatching but it is day 26.5 so...they are early!

one of them tried to bust out but yoke was all over its face and drowned......

So 4 eggs left.....please lots of hatching vibes here!!

I don't know what happen with mine because I always write the date they go in the bator on each egg. Well my turkeys hatched on day 25/26. Plus the cayuga eggs I had in the other bator hatched on day 25 too. When I went to take them out of the turner most of them had pipped already. It was weird that 2 different hatches hatched 3 days early.

wow poison, sounds crazy.

I think I am going mad with worry though now.....still no zipping from that one that pipped. Its going on 24hrs now!!

What should I do? Do you think it has died?
