It's OK. The 21 days is a guideline - not a hard and fast rule. There really isn't much we can do about it if they start to hatch early anyway, is there? Can't stuff 'em back in the egg.

Sit back, watch them hatch, keep the incubator closed, and keep your hands off the eggs! Enjoy!

What bobbi-j said. It's 21 give or take. Chickens aren't very good at counting or reading a calendar.

I know it's hard. Been there, done that. But more often than not, when people get antsy and try to "help", they do more harm than good.

I had eggs I placed under a broody--actaully wrote the date down so I knew for sure when it was--- all 8 hatched and dried by day 20. They're now 2 months old and doing great.
