Pip pip! w/Pictures~we're done at three

Update-one of the silkies has started to pip. I am going to bed. I don't know if I will sleep but I'm going to try.

Good morning! Went to bed around 1 am. Was up at 5:20. Our first chick Prima was resting quietly. No change with the second pip. DS woke me up at 7:10 and we went a checked and found the second had hatched! Now we have a third pip. The brooder is ready to go, except I noticed the temp is now reading higher than when we set it up. I've made some adjustments and I'm watching it now. Hopefully we'll be able to move Prima soon but not till we know it's safe to open the bator. DH has taken his car to the dealer and I don't want to try to do this without help. Mom can't get out of her driveway due to the little bit of snow we're getting. So I wait....

Our third pip is zipping now. He is glued to the window of the bator!

Yes this will be awsome I can remeber watching my first hatch it was so cool. I want a bator ahhhh what type do you have Henrietta? mabe I will just order a few more chicks and build another chicken tractor 13 isnt that many right? I am getting rid of my 3 unfriendly girls now and want to pick up or order 4 more to replace them.
