Pip Question???

Is it normal to have a small pip in the egg on day 19? The egg's wiggling and I heard it chirp earlier. Thanks!

Sounds normal enough to me. Sounds like that egg just developed a little faster than maybe the others.

It can take 24 hours and sometimes longer from pip to hatch so get some coffee. It might be a long night and if you are like most of us here there is no sleep for you tonight

Since it is only day 19, does that mean it still takes 24 hours or so, or does it take longer?

I'm on day 19 too, and I had 1 hatch around 3pm today! I have about 10 others that have pipped too! And about 17 that haven't done anything yet. This is my 1st hatch...we've been trying not to sit in front of the incubator all day, but, that's pretty hard not to do!

Hubby's not going to be happy with the peeping coming from the other side of the room....but we have to keep an eye on these things you know! He hears everything!
