I totally get it, but watching hatching is like watching a pot boil...it can take quite a long time and frequent checking can heighten the anxiety.I don’t think I am going to sleep tonight. To excited. 3 pips so far..
29, light bantams and buff Orpington. I think. They are eggs from my husbands cousin. They r taking most back but we are keeping a few..I totally get it, but watching hatching is like watching a pot boil...it can take quite a long time and frequent checking can heighten the anxiety. How many do you have in the incubator?
That's a good-sized batch! Usually, with my hatches, there's one precocious "early" hatcher, then - usually the next day - pretty much everyone else hatches. It can go from quiet to bedlam in the hatcher in no time.29, light bantams and buff Orpington. I think. They are eggs from my husbands cousin. They r taking most back but we are keeping a few..
