Pipd's Peeps!

Babies' first trip outside! :love These are the ones that are roughly 3, 4, and 5 weeks of age. I set them up in the wing of the main coop, so they aren't outside outside, but they're getting all the sights and sounds through the windows, and having a blast with all the extra room--when they aren't chirping pathetically for me to come rescue them.

I see that you are finding homes for your little ones. Wish, I could take some, but with the unknown and my batch of cockerels - I'm afraid that's too risky. 😁
But, I had someone reach out about my cockerels at least 1 or 2. I have to tell myself to let them go no matter how much I like them - otherwise I can't get more bantam females.

Trying to anyway! Just a few of them, the chicks from incorrect pairings to keep in my breeding program and a couple with traits I don't want to breed forward like wonky comb serrations and iffy middle toe feathering. Thus far, the only interest I've had has been one guy telling me he'd pay about half what I'm asking for and then no response when I said no and gave him what I thought was a fair enough discount from my asking price. Hopefully they sell soon. It's so hard not to get attached, but I really, really can't keep all of them.

I overhauled my flock page this morning so that it's as up to date as possible on pictures, egg colors, crow descriptions, etc. I've also renamed one section to better encompass what is on it, Flock Staples, and moved Gwenyth from the misc. breeds section of the last page over to Flock Staples page because I always want to have at least one of these goofy, weird birds around. :love

Gwenyth has decided she wants to hatch eggs, so she gathered a bunch underneath herself to sit on in the back corner where everyone lays their eggs behind the nest boxes.

Y'all, I have no idea what I thought I saw, but I did a double take so hard with this 🤣

My sweet one and only, Ginger likes to follow me around when I'm in the run. I'm so afraid I'm going to step on her. I am in disbelief as to how sweet she is. The boys are funny, but she's the sweetest!!

She's beautiful! :love My two tiny girls do the same thing to me, following me around. I go to turn around and they're right there--gotta do some fancy footwork to avoid stepping on them! I don't think they realize how tiny-tiny-tiny they are. 🤭
