So Piper is 2 weeks old today and she's finally integrated into the flock of ducklings but she still likes to spend time with me and follows me around. I took her over to visit the neighbor and took some pics in their flower bed because she looks so cute in the flowers.

Here she is at one week old.

Now she's 2 weeks old and she has grown!

Hanging with the dogs

Pretty as a picture.

She is so cute! I want a goose so badly! Those pics are so cute and springy, you should enter them here https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...y-contest-ends-may-10th-2015/20#post_15107130

Have you had other breeds of geese before, and if so, what is your preferable breed?
I would like to get a couple in the near future, and I'm torn about what to get. Everyone has mixed answers about different breeds and what's the "best". I mainly want it as a pet, but a do want a good quailty goose(with not a hefty price tag). Thanks for your answer in advance!

I've never had a goose before. I wanted a goose as an alarm system for my duck flock so I bought one at the feedstore. I did research the Embden before I bought her though.

Gorgeous pics

I take at least one pic a week. I'm kind of documenting the ducklings and gosling as they grown with pictures at least once a week. I swear she grows over night though. Maybe I should have taken a picture a day. :)

She is so flipping cute!!! I always thought embdens are the most physically beautiful of all geese. I agree they do grow noticeably bigger overnight!
