Piperazine dosage question

I know this is an old post, but I my girls have these worms also. I just did the second dose of Safe guard paste today. I can not identify these as the picture posted here is the only one that I have found to look like what my girls have. What was your outcome?

Welcome to BYC.
They are tapeworm segments. You'll need to purchase Equimax equine paste at a feed store. Dosage is 0.03ml per pound or 0.15ml for a 5 pound chicken. You must give it orally to each chicken that is excreting the segments in the feces. Then repeat dosing in 10 days.

Hi all,

I've read every thread on this topic but still can't find the right information so am hoping someone who uses this product can help me.

Label dosage: 90mls per 11 litres for 100 birds.

The label dosages are for 100 birds so when I convert everything down for just 2 chickens i get 0.16 mls in 1 litre of water - can that be right, such a small amount?

Or do I use the same amount for 100 birds as for 2?

I've seen a lot of info on wazine-17 but am not sure if it's exactly the same as piperazine in terms of active ingredient concentration so I'm not sure if i can use those dosages. I don't want to give them way too much as i've read it can be hard on their systems.

Your help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
After much calculating and googling I have determined 1/3 teaspoon per litre, get an appropriate sized waterer and leave in for the day, remove
other sources of water and they will drink what they need then put their regular water back in.

Those thread is from 2016, you're not likely to receive a response from the op. :]
