Hi, I've got a question about piperazine. Has anyone used it as a single dose instead of in the water? You see I have this duck, a silly old sick duck I picked up in the park the other day. He has a bit of a list of ailments, but with this post I'm focussing on his worms as if I get rid of them hopefully the rest will follow. I'll cut a long story short and say that as he is from the park he doesn't seem to have "clicked" that the water in front of him is water to drink, no matter what I try. He drinks in his kiddie pool, but not so much from his bowl. It's been suggested that I leave him out of the pool for a day but I honestly don't think that he will get enough of a dose to really get these worms.
So anyway, the Merk Vet Manual site says it can be used that way, I was just wondering if anyone has done it and what their experiences are? Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
