So, one of my ducks eggs externally pipped a day and a half ago with no progress. It is wiggling though... should I wait, or help it soon? Thanks.

Ok, thanks so much.Ducklings can take 48 hours from external pip to the unzip. Wait until that period is up and if it still hasn't hatched then I'd assist.
That duck ended up hatching early this morning! And all the other eggs have pipped!! Except.... for one. It hasn't been moving for the past few days, and hasn't pipped. Does this sound like a dead duck!?!?
Ok thank so much! I think I may take it out today. Can you do that during lockdown? It doesn't sound hopeful for the one that hasn't been moving but you can leave it in, just in case.
Congrats on your new baby. Ducklings are so adorable.![]()

Oh, ok, I’ll do that. All of my ducks ended up hatching today! Do little yellow ducks sound like pekins? Thank so much!As long as you are quick you can whip it out.
Most likely but other breeds can come in white such as runners. You could make a thread in the duck forum when it's a bit older and someone there should be able to tell you. I've only hatched muscovy.Oh, ok, I’ll do that. All of my ducks ended up hatching today! Do little yellow ducks sound like pekins? Thank so much!
