My eggs have been in the incubator for 21 days, I have had two lovely lively chicks hatch and another pipped 16 hours ago without any further progress or signs of movement. I have resisted helping or opening the incubator but spend far too long staring at the eggs. The temp is about 37 and humidity 72%. I have 2 other eggs in there which have not pipped. I am hoping that my chicks are just waiting for the right moment any advice?

The temp should probably be around 97-101 degrees. Some chicks take longer to zip and hatch. If you chirp to the egg does it cheep back? Sometimes the hatched chicks will cheep at it as if they are encouraging them to come out.

Thank you for the warm welcomes - I had no reason to worry, he hatched whilst I slept so just waiting to see whether the other two eggs will join is. This is my second hatch and after helping a chick last time I don't want to again as it was a disaster for the chick. I have been reading BYC for the last 3 weeks to get tips from you experts and am so pleased I found you.
