Pipped at the wrong end..

My last two hatches, my first egg to pip in each batch pipped at the wrong end. They both left the air cell completely intact and never bothered pipping internally. In both cases, they hatched just fine without any interference on my part.

Both times it freaked me out though.
This was the pipped egg from my hatch a couple days ago. SOOOOOOOO not the correct end!

It did just fine though, and is a very healthy chick.

Thanks Sphinx- That makes me feel better. I've had them pip towards the wrong end, but never this far down. And without internally pipping.

Of course if I had 20 of these eggs it'd be different, but I have 2. And I REALLY want them! LOL.

Well, just for fun, My one remaining Lemon Orp (I have 2 total) has decided to pip at the TOTAL wrong end as well.

WTHeck?

Chick #1 is halfway out, but has some absorbing to do so hopefully by tonight she'll be out.

I did have to get her that far.
