I have three bantam eggs that have pipped more towards the center of the egg and created large holes rather than zipping. The chicks are alive but have made no progress in 30 hours. The other hatched chicks are knocking them around a bit. How long to I leave the partially hatched in the incubator? What’s the longest anyone has ever waited for a chick to hatch healthy and live? I do not want my kids to see them die in the egg and I also don’t want a crippled chick to hatch...I do not want them to suffer. Do they still have a chance to hatch or will they die? Humidity 60 and temperature is 100. I have hatched tons of chicks. Quail, ducks, standard and bantam chicks. My gut tells me that these guys are not going to make it but I could really use a second opinion.
Thanks!
