First time using an incubator as used broody hens for since I was a kid. One egg has popped wrong end. I’ve read through the hatching guide on here but I’m so confused and getting myself in a fluster and don’t want to do more damage.

I’ve moistened the area, chick is loud. No blood really from where I’ve removed some as was trying to go round in the zip position but hasn’t gone right at all. 😢 Feeling like I’ve made this worse?!
Chick is end of day 21

Sorry auto correct. The chick is not at the end of the air sac.. it’s come out the other end and has made no progress for a long time?
How long has it been since the chick pipped the small end? It can take them 24 hours to hatch.

Probably about 12 - 14 hours. I’m more concerned it’s the wrong end there’s no room to turn if that makes sense

The small end that you picked shell off at looks wide enough, so the chick can hatch itself.
