So i have one egg that just pipped in the small end. Do i just wait and see? Also i have one that pipped sometime in the night, widened the hole a bit, but hasn't done much. The exposed membrane is turning tan and dry looking. Humidity is high 50s to low 60s.I can see that the chick is still moving and looks damp where it pushes on the membrane. I'm guessing i just wait it out. 3 have hatched successfully and the shells and membranes looked great. One more is zipping and another two have pipped. Tonight at 8:00PM is officially 21 days.

Nothing new with the one that pipped in the wrong end. The other one i was concerned about hatched out during the night. I have one other with a large hole and can see the chick moving still. This one also shows the outer membrane drying but since i can see the chick is okay still I'll leave it and just wait. One of my two EEx eggs pipped last night and there was a little blood on the membrane. This morning it pipped again a little higher so we'll wait and see with that one too. It's crazy how some pip, zip, and hatch all in 5 min and others take 24 hours or more.

Yes, it's very crazy! Glad they are doing okay. I would still wait with the one that pipped the wrong end, but if it doesn't do anything for a while you might need to assist it.
